MT. BERRY, Ga.—Agnes Scott Volleyball finished off a busy week with a pair of three-set losses to Sewanee and Berry on Sunday afternoon. The Scotties dropped the first match 25-13, 25-19, 25-22 to the Tigers before falling to the host Vikings 25-21, 25-10, 25-11.
The Scotties dip to 7-20 this season and have fallen on the tough side of the scoreboard in seven consecutive matches dating back to an October 7th win over Berea. Agnes Scott will finish up its regular season with three matches this week, beginning with its final home game against Brevard on Tuesday at 6 p.m. Agnes will head to LaGrange for an important USA South tri-match with Berea and LaGrange next Saturday that will have big implications on conference tournament seeding.
Paige Heck (Indianapolis, Ind.), Bonnie Derks (Sylva, N.C.) and Morgan Pearson (Pensacola, Fla.) paced the Scottie attack with 9, 8 and 8 kills respectively. Anna Tomkins (Chapel Hill, N.C.) had 32 assists between the two matches, while Bella Kammerer (Mt. Sterling, Ky.) finished with 27 digs.
