MONTGOMERY, Ala.—A torrid start carried Huntingdon to a 65-43 win over visiting Agnes Scott College in USA South Women's Basketball play on Wednesday evening. The Hawks scored the first 15 points of the contest and never looked back to secure a season sweep of the Scotties.

Garis Grant (Charleston, S.C.) led all scorers in the contest with 15 points, while also notching her 11th double-double of the season with 11 rebounds. The junior added three more blocks to her season total, bringing her with in of tying the program season record of 66 which she set just last season.

Huntingdon was led by T.I. Duncan and Shaonica Thomas with 13 points apiece.

The Hawks led by as many as 23 in the first quarter as the Scotties struggled to find the bottom of the net and held a 29-8 advantage going into the second. Agnes Scott settled down from there on out, outscoring the Hawks for much of the rest of the way until a few point-padding buckets in the final minutes.
